This remarkable recipe comprises a sequence of ten sessions, carefully crafted to systematically and comprehensively address specific areas of the body.
"Living Breath" We focus on maximizing your breathing capacity by releasing tension in the shoulder girdles and differentiating the movements of the pelvis and torso. This session addresses the arms, diaphragm, chest, shoulders, and hips.
"New Feet" Our goal is to create a stable foundation for your overall structure. We pay special attention to the foot, lower leg, and back, working towards a better understanding of their interplay.
"Sideline" Builds upon the previous two sessions, further establishing a balanced front-to-back relationship. Here, we work along the lateral midline, from the ankle to the ear, to enhance overall symmetry and alignment.
“Inner Leg Line” Marks the start of the core sessions, and explores the relationship of the deep structures of the leg to the floor pelvis, working from the inner arch of the foot and ankle to the pelvis.
“Upward” Continuing the core work by creating core integrity through lengthening the abdominal region, getting to the front of the spine and freeing up the psoas. This work spans from the sternum to the pubic bone and quadriceps.
“Breathing Pelvis” Focuses on giving more support and fluent movement to the legs, pelvis, hips, and back, promoting better breathing and movement coordination.
"Crowning" This marks the beginning of the end of your Rolfing journey. This session is significant as it involves placing a well-oriented head on top of the sub-structure, thereby awakening a heightened perception of depth and omni-directionality.
The final three sessions, serve as finishing sessions tailored to your specific needs and goals. During this stage, previous addressed areas are revisited, ensuring a harmonious balance is maintained.
